2PM's Taecyeon Sparks Marriage Rumors with Leaked Proposal Photos in Paris

2PM member and actor Taecyeon (37) has found himself at the center of marriage rumors after photos with his non-celebrity girlfriend were leaked.

A photography company in France, which conducted a snap shoot, stated on social media on the 6th, "We had no intention of exposing Taecyeon's personal life."

The company, which took the couple's photos in Paris last April, claimed, "We did not know who they were." They added, "We were also surprised and shocked by this situation. We have already apologized to Taecyeon and his girlfriend and wish to extend a sincere public apology."

On the 5th, online communities were abuzz with photos of Taecyeon proposing to his girlfriend with a ring against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The proposal-themed photos sparked speculation about an impending marriage, with some even suggesting that the couple might already be married.

In response, Taecyeon's agency, 51K, told TenAsia, "The photos were a gift for his girlfriend's birthday last year, and their late release seems to have sparked the marriage rumors." They clarified, "No wedding date has been set." The agency also mentioned they are investigating how the photos were leaked.

Taecyeon publicly acknowledged his relationship with a non-celebrity woman in June 2020, and they have been dating for five years. At the time, his agency confirmed the relationship, stating, "Taecyeon is dating a non-celebrity woman. It is a private matter, and we are being cautious as she is not a public figure."

Taecyeon starred in the Japanese film 'Grand Maison Paris,' which attracted over 2.16 million viewers since its release on December 30th last year. He is set to meet his domestic fans at Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul on February 15-16.
