Former WINNER Member Song Min-ho Faces Allegations of Misconduct During Alternative Service
Song Min-ho, a former member of the group WINNER, is embroiled in allegations of misconduct and falsifying attendance during his alternative service.
According to a media outlet on the 17th, Song Min-ho has not been properly attending his duties since transferring to the Mapo Resident Convenience Facility in March. YG Entertainment has remained silent in response to inquiries from TenAsia.
There are also suspicions of falsifying attendance records. It is alleged that Song Min-ho did not attend work regularly and instead signed off on multiple days at once, taking advantage of the manual record-keeping system.
Previously, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission recommended the establishment of 'public service personnel duty guidelines' and suggested using 'electronic methods' like time cards for attendance tracking when necessary. However, it has been pointed out that the facility where Song Min-ho is serving did not adhere to these recommendations.
Meanwhile, Song Min-ho began his alternative service in March last year and is scheduled to be discharged on the 23rd.
