NCT's Mark to Release New Single 'Fraktsiya' Featuring Lee Young-ji on December 16
'Fraktsiya (Feat. Lee Young-ji)' is a hip-hop track characterized by its heavy 808 bass and intense, repetitive synthesizer sounds layered over house-style chord progressions. The song incorporates elements of UK drill, a subgenre of hip-hop, showcasing Mark's unique charm and sharp rapping style, captivating listeners instantly.
The lyrics metaphorically depict Mark and Lee Young-ji's dynamic presence in both K-pop and hip-hop, highlighting their confidence as they navigate and excel in their respective fields.
Mark shared his thoughts on the track, stating, "I started working on this song while reflecting on my position in K-pop and the various roles I play. I felt that Young-ji had a similar character to mine, so I asked her to feature, and she gladly accepted."
He added, "I believed there was a unique chemistry between Young-ji and me, and 'Fraktsiya' proved that right. I'm grateful to Young-ji once again."
