Lyricist Kim Eana Addresses Controversy Over Alleged Use of Far-Right Slang
Lyricist and broadcaster Kim Eana has spoken out regarding the controversy surrounding her alleged use of slang associated with the far-right online community, Ilgan Best (Ilbe).

Kim Eana took to her social media to ask, "What do you think about martial law? Do you support impeachment? Are you a '2-jjik'?" The term '2-jjik' is a derogatory expression for those who voted for the People Power Party.

In response, Kim stated, "I've never visited Ilbe. I still don't know if the source is Ilbe," adding, "I am one of the citizens who have been angry since the moment martial law was declared."

Recently, Kim Eana has come under scrutiny again for allegedly using terms known to be associated with Ilbe, such as 'Jwajangmyeon,' 'Huoguo,' and 'Sam-il-han,' during an internet broadcast last December. Although the controversy subsided shortly after it first emerged, it has resurfaced amid the current political climate following the December 3 martial law incident and the impeachment proceedings. Kim has denied these allegations, stating they are "not true," but the discussions continue.

Kim Eana has been active as a lyricist since 2003, gaining fame for writing songs for popular artists like Brown Eyed Girls, IU, and Park Hyo-shin. She has also maintained a steady presence in broadcasting and is currently serving as a judge on TV Chosun's variety show 'TV Chosun University Song Festival.'
