ENHYPEN Achieves New Heights on Billboard Japan's Annual Charts
ENHYPEN has reached new milestones on Billboard Japan's annual charts, showcasing their growing influence in the region.
According to the 2024 annual chart released by Billboard Japan on December 6, ENHYPEN's second studio album, 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD,' secured the 12th spot on the 'Hot Albums' chart. This marks a significant improvement from their previous ranking of 17th with their first Japanese studio album, '定め (Sadame),' in 2022, highlighting their rising prominence in Japan.
The group also achieved their highest position yet on the 'Top Album Sales' chart, climbing to 10th place with their second studio album, a leap of 15 spots from last year.
Their second studio album repackage, 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD -daydream-,' landed at 22nd on the same chart. Notably, this ranking was achieved with just a week of sales following its release in Japan on November 19, indicating strong local fan support.
ENHYPEN's success on global music charts is evident as they continue to make waves with consecutive album hits. Their second studio album, released in July, surpassed 2.34 million copies in first-week sales and reached a career-high of No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The repackage sold a total of 1,406,926 copies in its first week, setting a new record for the highest first-week sales of a K-pop repackage album.
The group is set to continue their momentum with their 'WALK THE LINE' world tour in Japan. After successfully completing performances at the Saitama Belluna Dome on November 9-10, they will meet fans at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 28-29 and the Kyocera Dome Osaka on January 25-26. This marks the fastest dome tour across three cities by a K-pop boy group.
