G(I)-DLE Members Renew Contracts with Cube Entertainment, Ensuring Continued Success

All members of the group (G)I-DLE have renewed their contracts with Cube Entertainment.

On the 2nd, Cube Entertainment announced in an official statement, "After in-depth discussions with the members of (G)I-DLE, we have completed the renewal of contracts with all members, including Soyeon, whose contract had already expired, as well as Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua, who still had time remaining on their existing contracts."

They continued, "We are grateful to (G)I-DLE for dreaming of soaring higher based on a strong relationship of trust and completing the contract renewal. We also sincerely thank the fans who have waited for this news for a long time."

Cube Entertainment added, "Through this contract renewal, (G)I-DLE will further solidify the brand they have built over the past seven years and, with Cube Entertainment, will continue to aim for broader stages and higher goals with unwavering support."

Previously, (G)I-DLE's Jeon Soyeon's exclusive contract expired in November. During their world tour performance in Seoul last August, she performed with lyrics hinting at the contract's end, leading to concerns about a potential non-renewal. Despite various speculations, Jeon Soyeon mentioned the contract renewal during her acceptance speech at the '2024 MMA' (Melon Music Awards) on November 30, putting an end to the controversy.
