Rising K-Pop Group VVUP Wins New Artist Award at Seoul Success Awards
The K-Pop group VVUP has celebrated a significant milestone by winning the New Artist category at a major domestic awards ceremony.

On October 25th, VVUP was honored with the New Artist Award at the 16th Seoul Success Awards, held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul.

The Seoul Success Awards is one of the largest award ceremonies in South Korea, recognizing individuals who have contributed to national development across various fields, including politics, economy, society, and culture. VVUP demonstrated their influence as a 'global rookie' by securing an overwhelming 60.19% of the votes in the New Artist category, thanks to an online poll.

Attending the ceremony in person, VVUP expressed their gratitude, saying, "We are honored to be invited to such a prestigious event and to receive this precious award. We owe this achievement to our fans, the 'Vinnies.' Thank you for your constant love and support." They also hinted at an upcoming comeback, stating, "We will return soon with an amazing performance, so please look forward to it," heightening anticipation among fans worldwide.

VVUP first captured attention in April with their debut single 'Locked On,' showcasing their 'high-teen rebel' charm. They continued to impress with their summer track 'Ain't Nobody,' delivering powerful and refreshing energy that caught the eye of global K-Pop fans. Notably, they made their mark on major international music markets, entering the iTunes K-Pop charts in the U.S. and the U.K., and performed at 'KCON' events in Hong Kong and Japan, leaving a strong impression with their polished performances.
