NewJeans' Minji Updates Profile Amidst Min Hee-jin's Resignation from ADOR

In the wake of Min Hee-jin's announcement of her resignation from her position as an internal director at ADOR, NewJeans member Minji has updated her profile picture on the fan communication platform, Phoning.

On the 20th, Minji changed her profile picture on Phoning to a photo featuring Eunwoo and Jungwoo, the sons of former national fencing representative Kim Jun-ho. Minji had previously expressed her interest in the boys during her appearance on KBS2's 'The Return of Superman,' stating, "I've been watching over Jungwoo and Eunwoo and wanted to meet them, which led to my appearance on the show." This profile update is largely interpreted as a reflection of her continued interest in the boys. However, some netizens speculate that the timing of the update, coinciding with Min Hee-jin's resignation announcement, might indicate a shift in Minji's sentiments.

On the same day, former ADOR director Min Hee-jin released a statement expressing her intention to resign, citing a breach of shareholder agreement with HYBE and announcing her plans to pursue legal action against HYBE for numerous alleged illegal activities.

Following her resignation announcement, Min Hee-jin unfollowed NewJeans' official Instagram account and removed the ADOR link from her profile, also unfollowing ADOR's official Instagram. As of now, NewJeans has not issued any statement regarding Min Hee-jin's resignation or the Instagram activity.
