Full Statement from Min Hee-jin

Hello, this is Min Hee-jin.
I am resigning from my position as an internal director at ADOR today.
I am also terminating the shareholder agreement with HYBE and intend to hold them legally accountable for breaches of the agreement.
Additionally, I will be taking necessary legal actions against numerous illegal activities by HYBE and its affiliates.

Despite the hellish seven-month-long dispute with HYBE that began with an illegal audit in April, I have done everything in my power to restore ADOR to its state before April while adhering to the shareholder agreement. However, HYBE has shown no signs of acknowledging their wrongdoing or changing, leading me to conclude that further efforts would be a waste of time.

I hoped HYBE would acknowledge their mistakes and worked tirelessly to protect NewJeans within the distorted environment of HYBE. This is why I sent internal whistleblower emails twice in April.

However, instead of reflecting, HYBE fabricated absurd falsehoods and publicly displayed their shameful illegal audit, engaging in unprecedented foolishness. They framed me, a minority shareholder and CEO, as attempting a 'hostile takeover' and conducted a witch hunt, launching ignorant and irrational attacks unbefitting a large corporation.

After seven long months of various trials and tribulations, it has become clear that my whistleblowing was a legitimate report based on undeniable facts, while HYBE's ugly lies and hypocrisy are being exposed. HYBE likely knew from the beginning that the whistleblowing was truthful and a legitimate issue.
However, for those who prioritize their own interests and gains, the essence of 'problem-solving' was a task they wanted to avoid at all costs.

I did not expect them to repent, but I believed they had at least a minimum of conscience as human beings, which now seems like a naive misjudgment.
However, just as merely breathing does not mean one is truly alive, I did not want to align myself with this twisted organization, driven by money.

HYBE has continued hypocritical and contradictory actions, using its subsidiary labels to engage in reckless lawsuits, nitpicking, and unfair media play to bury me, while simultaneously presenting a production delegation contract filled with toxic clauses as if they were offering a great favor. They insisted on face-to-face meetings while refusing to provide R&R documents, despite claiming to want to discuss the core of the delegation contract, and demanded incomprehensible requirements like forensic consent before any discussion.
Despite having unilaterally dismissed me, they spread false information to the media, claiming I had stepped down as CEO to take on production duties, while hypocritically demanding 'confidentiality' from others.

HYBE's actions in 2024 will be recorded as an unprecedented case in K-pop history.

Over the past seven months, I have poured all my mental, economic, and physical resources into reviving ADOR, which was damaged by HYBE's severe breach of the shareholder agreement.
Despite the hellish battle initiated by the baseless violence of a group hiding behind the facade of a large corporation, I have not backed down and have made every effort.
HYBE's moral decay has reached its peak, and while their dirty media play will continue, I am not worried, as the public has likely become aware of their patterns.
Nevertheless, if there are any forces or media that engage in baseless slander, I will not stand idly by and will take legal action.

This unprecedented incident is not over yet, but I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the many people, including Bunnies, who have tirelessly supported and encouraged me over the past six months.
Ironically, through this battle with the worst company, I have met the best people, which is a special fortune.
Some may not understand why I have endured so much, but there is a reason and meaning for someone like me to exist in this world.
I hope you will continue to show interest in my new K-pop journey in the future.
I conclude this message with a sense of relief, sharing these words with some people.

"No act of malice by one person should tarnish the essence of the industry. It was truly bad."
