SEVENTEEN's Mingyu Shares His Unwavering Commitment to the Group's Future
SEVENTEEN's Mingyu has revealed his steadfast goals for the future.
On the 19th, a fashion lifestyle magazine unveiled a pictorial featuring Mingyu. The photoshoot captured a different side of him, showcasing a more lyrical atmosphere compared to his passionate stage persona.
In an interview conducted alongside the photoshoot, Mingyu shared, “I imagine a lot during shoots. I think, ‘If I pose like this in this outfit, it would feel like an article,’ and I visualize the image. When asked to portray a languid feeling while sitting on a chair, I imagined an old building in Paris with curtains fluttering,” demonstrating his prowess as a 'pictorial master.'
Mingyu also expressed his deep affection for SEVENTEEN. As the group approaches their 10th anniversary next year, he stated, “I often tell the members, ‘Of course, we’ll still be SEVENTEEN in 10 years, so why worry about 1 or 2 years from now?’” He added, “Protecting SEVENTEEN is a significant goal for me.” Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN, with Mingyu, is set to release their 4th Japanese single on the 27th and will embark on a dome tour in Japan. The tour, titled 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN JAPAN,' will kick off at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya on the 29th and 30th, followed by performances at the Tokyo Dome on December 4th and 5th, Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 12th and 14th-15th, and Fukuoka PayPay Dome on the 19th and 21st-22nd.
