K-Pop Star Kim Junsu Extorted by Female Streamer: 8 Billion Won Stolen
Kim Junsu, a member of the group JX, has reportedly been extorted by a female streamer from SOOP (formerly known as AfreecaTV), losing approximately 8 billion won.

According to a report on the 15th, the Gyeonggi Northern Provincial Police Agency applied for an arrest warrant on the 13th for streamer A, under charges of aggravated punishment for specific economic crimes. A is accused of extorting 8.4 billion won from Kim Junsu over 101 instances from September 2020 to last month.

Police reports indicate that A, who became acquainted with Kim Junsu in 2019, recorded their conversations and threatened to release these files online to extort money. A is currently on trial at the Seoul Central District Court for drug-related charges. The motive behind A's crimes was reportedly to fund drug purchases.

Meanwhile, Kim Junsu continues to perform with JX alongside fellow former TVXQ member Kim Jaejoong. They recently celebrated their 20th anniversary with a solo concert on the 8th. Additionally, Kim Junsu is set to appear in the musical 'Aladdin' as a musical actor.
