K-Pop Star Kim Jaejoong Addresses Fake Dating Rumors Spread by Sasaeng Fan
K-Pop star Kim Jaejoong has spoken out about the distress caused by a sasaeng fan spreading false dating rumors.
On the 13th, Kim Jaejoong took to a fan communication platform to clarify the 'self-made dating rumor' propagated by a sasaeng fan. He expressed his disbelief, saying, "I heard there was a dating rumor about me. I saw all the photos, but why would anyone think that's me? I barely have time to sleep, let alone date."
He further explained, "Upon closer inspection, it seemed like they perfectly set up the lighting, timing of my arrivals, favorite foods, and even finger tattoos. But the couple scam left a flaw." He humorously added, "I don't like pretty cafes. If it had been a photo of me eating soup, I might have doubted myself."
Kim Jaejoong also expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, "Why didn't they photoshop the guy's face? Why use a photo of a boyfriend with thinning hair? If you're going to do it, put more effort into it so I can sue you harder." He warned the sasaeng, stating, "I've found out your name, social security number, and even have your photo. I remember who you are."
The sasaeng fan had been posting manipulated images on social media for months, making it appear as though an ordinary man's photos were of Kim Jaejoong. By cleverly aligning these images with Kim's schedule, the fan fabricated a dating rumor.
Fans who recognized the photos as fake protested to Kim Jaejoong, prompting him to personally address and clarify the situation.
