Emotional Reunion: Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jin-wook's Tearful Kiss in 'To My Harry'

The Genie TV original series 'To My Harry' is a heartwarming romance that heals the hidden wounds of announcer 'Eun-ho', who has developed a new personality, and her ex-boyfriend 'Hyun-oh'. The 10th episode of 'To My Harry' recorded its highest nationwide viewership rating of 3.6%, with a 3.7% rating in the metropolitan area.
The episode aired on the 22nd began with Hyun-oh (played by Lee Jin-wook) quietly observing the deep scars on Hye-ri's (played by Shin Hye-sun) arm as they left the police station together. It also revealed the sweet and happy moments before Hyun-oh and Eun-ho (played by Shin Hye-sun) became a couple. When Hye-ri shyly asked, "Are you interested in me? You wouldn't be, right? Why would you be lacking anything?" Hyun-oh nonchalantly confessed, "If I wasn't interested, why would I contact you and ask to meet? It's stranger that you didn't know." Even after a month passed without a response to his confession, Hyun-oh sulked, saying, "I don't like you anymore," and later appeared in front of Eun-ho six months later, asking, "Shall we go to Namsan Tower?" Eun-ho hesitated but replied, "I like the cable car," and added, "But don't ignore me for six months anymore," showing her lovely side.
Uncertain whether it was Eun-ho or Hye-ri, Hyun-oh cautiously began to care for Eun-ho. Heading to Eun-ho's house upstairs to find clothes, Hyun-oh read Hye-ri's diary written by both Hye-ri and Eun-ho. Returning to Eun-ho, Hyun-oh carefully asked, "I'm curious, what should I call you? It's not Eun-ho, right? Should I call you Hye-ri?" but received no answer. Hyun-oh then asked, "Don't you recognize me? We've met before," and when Eun-ho remained silent, he said, "It's okay if you don't remember," and left. Eun-ho quietly called out "Jung Hyun-oh," catching attention.
Still longing for Hye-ri, Joo-yeon (played by Kang Hoon) habitually called, and when Hyun-oh answered, he was puzzled. Upon hearing that Eun-ho had returned, Joo-yeon urgently asked, "Where are you now? How is Hye-ri? Where did she come from? Can I talk to her?" When Hyun-oh remained silent, Joo-yeon anxiously shouted, "Senior!" Hyun-oh replied, "She's healthy and safe. That's all," and hung up, discovering numerous missed calls from Joo-yeon on Eun-ho's phone.
As Hyun-oh and Eun-ho left the house to go to the hospital, Joo-yeon, who had been waiting for Hye-ri, was there. Upon seeing Eun-ho, Joo-yeon tearfully shouted, "I don't care, Hye-ri. I just need you to be there. Even if you're not by my side, as long as you're alive and healthy, that's enough for me. You don't have to love me, and even if you return to the forest, I'm okay." He continued, "I didn't like you because you were someone. I liked you because you came to someone like me," and cried. Hearing this from afar, Eun-ho ran to embrace Joo-yeon. Holding Eun-ho tightly, Joo-yeon tearfully said, "I missed you, Hye-ri." Eun-ho warmly smiled at Joo-yeon and turned to Hyun-oh, saying, "Jung Hyun-oh, I need to talk to Kang Joo-yeon," revealing herself as Eun-ho.
Meanwhile, as Hyun-oh struggled to focus on anything after Eun-ho left with Joo-yeon, Ji-on (played by Kang Sang-jun) informed Hyun-oh that he had visited the mysterious village forest and cabin where Eun-ho stayed for a month. Ji-on said, "Do you know why Eun-ho went into that forest? To abandon herself. She wanted to abandon herself so much that she hurt her own arm," adding, "No matter how hard she tried, it was always better than here, where she was always in pain because of you. Eun-ho wanted to become Hye-ri completely." Ji-on handed over a piece of paper found in the cabin, which was a drawing of a necklace Hyun-oh had given Eun-ho before they became a couple. Ji-on said, "She wanted to abandon everything, but she took that with her. I'm envious of you, but I also dislike you. Even if you don't deserve it, Eun-ho couldn't abandon you," ending his unrequited love.
During this time, Eun-ho bid farewell to Joo-yeon, evoking sympathy. When Joo-yeon asked, "Are you Hye-ri or Eun-ho now?" Eun-ho calmly replied, "I'm Eun-ho. But I wanted to be Hye-ri so much. I wanted to know why she wanted to be happy." Simultaneously, it showed Eun-ho heading to the mysterious village a month ago, waking up lethargically for days, and at times smiling brightly as Hye-ri, enjoying happiness in the forest. However, even with scars like Hye-ri, Eun-ho couldn't become Hye-ri. Eun-ho told Joo-yeon, "I've never been happy. Not even for a moment," and recalled a day commemorating Hye-ri, unable to honestly express her pain and sadness while in Hyun-oh's arms. Eun-ho then said, "I don't think I can become Hye-ri, Joo-yeon," ending their relationship. To Joo-yeon, who desperately said, "I don't care," Eun-ho tearfully smiled and said, "I wanted to say goodbye. Thank you for liking and caring for someone who needed love more than anyone else. I didn't like you because you were someone, but because you came to someone like me. Thank you, Joo-yeon."
The scene then shifted to Eun-ho and Hyun-oh running towards each other, drawing attention. In the past, Eun-ho asked Hyun-oh, "I hope you don't leave. I want you to always be by my side. How long will you love me?" and Hyun-oh replied, "Forever." Eun-ho said, "I thought I was never happy, not even for a moment. Today, I was so happy," and when Hyun-oh asked, "Because of me?" Eun-ho didn't answer, only smiling through tears and gently touching Hyun-oh's face. Eun-ho's narration said, "If that person comes back, I should tell them," as Hyun-oh rushed out of the office and Eun-ho ran outside after receiving a call.
The scene continued with Hyun-oh running up the stairs towards Eun-ho, who was running towards him, making eye contact. Hyun-oh paused briefly, then ran to Eun-ho, who was crying, and they kissed while smiling. Eun-ho's narration added, "I should tell you. Thank you, my love. Thank you for coming to someone like me," leaving a deep impression.
At the end of the broadcast, Eun-ho and Hyun-oh were seen sitting on the sofa at home, embracing each other, creating another moment of excitement. Eun-ho touched Hyun-oh's face and said, "I missed you," to which Hyun-oh replied, "Even though we see each other every day?" Eun-ho answered, "Yes, even though we saw each other every day," and Hyun-oh confessed, "I felt the same. I missed you every day," bringing smiles to the viewers.
