Singer Young Tak Confirms Full Repayment from Comedian Lee Jin-ho Amid Illegal Gambling Scandal
Singer Young Tak's agency has confirmed that all the money lent to comedian Lee Jin-ho, who admitted to illegal gambling, has been fully repaid.

On the 15th, Young Tak's agency, Abyss Company, stated, "Artist Young Tak has not suffered any financial damage from comedian Lee Jin-ho."

They further explained, "Comedian Lee Jin-ho requested financial assistance from our artist Young Tak due to tax issues on July 18 last year, and the full amount was repaid by September 12."

Young Tak's side added, "We are sharing the facts as our fans have expressed much concern and worry."

Lee Jin-ho admitted to illegal gambling, stating, "In 2020, I started playing games on an illegal online gambling site by chance and ended up with an unbearable debt. With stern advice from acquaintances and the fear of not being able to return to the work I love, I managed to quit gambling, but I had already received financial help from many people."

However, before Lee Jin-ho's voluntary confession, our publication inquired with his agency, SM C&C, about the celebrity financial damage incident due to his illegal gambling, but received no response until a sudden statement was released. Although Lee Jin-ho claimed to have quit gambling, it was confirmed that he continued borrowing money from acquaintances until August. He borrowed a principal amount of 1.3 billion KRW from a loan company and also borrowed money from BTS's Jimin, Lee Soo-geun, Ha Sung-woon, and other broadcasting personnel.
