ATEEZ Releases 4th Japanese Single 'Birthday' with Enchanting Music Video
The group ATEEZ has released their 4th Japanese single, 'Birthday'.
On the 2nd, ATEEZ unveiled their 4th Japanese single 'Birthday', along with the music video for the title track of the same name on their official YouTube channel. The title track 'Birthday' carries a message of facing any challenge fearlessly and enjoying every day as if it were a birthday.
The released music video exudes a dreamy atmosphere, as if watching a scene from a dream. As the video revolves around the theme of birthdays, ATEEZ appears as spirits that grant wishes on one's birthday. The members captivate viewers as they perform in various settings that harmonize with the song's mood, such as a wishing fountain, fireworks-filled sky, mysterious magic show, and a lavish party room. Towards the end of the video, ATEEZ appears as if they are candles on a cake, holding the viewers' attention until the very end.
Previously, ATEEZ held their first fan meeting in Japan, 'ATINY'S VOYAGE: FROM A TO Z', in August, selling out all seats for every session, showcasing their immense popularity in the region. Additionally, last month, they released 'Royal', a pre-release track from this album and their second collaboration with BE:FIRST, which topped the Oricon 'Weekly Digital Ranking' (as of September 16), generating a heated response from local fans.
Amidst the enthusiastic interest from local fans, the newly released album is their first Japanese single album in about seven months since 'NOT OKAY'. The album includes a total of six tracks, including the title track 'Birthday', 'Royal', 'Forevermore', and instrumental versions of each track.
Moreover, members Hongjoong and Mingi have contributed to the lyrics of all the songs in this album, drawing attention. The album is expected to showcase ATEEZ's unique musical color and an upgraded musical world.
