Min Hee-jin Expresses Discontent Over 'Meme' Status of Her Press Conference
Min Hee-jin, former CEO of ADOR, expressed her discontent over her actions during the first press conference becoming a 'meme'.

On the evening of the 27th, Min Hee-jin will be a speaker at the '2024 Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel' event, hosted by Hyundai Card in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The theme of her lecture is 'The Producer Who Breaks the K-POP Formula, Min Hee-jin's Freestyle', and she will speak for approximately 100 minutes, twice as long as other speakers.

Dressed in a black leather jacket and black cap, Min Hee-jin expressed her gratitude to the audience's cheers, saying, "Thank you for such a warm welcome." However, she asked the audience not to take photos with their phones, stating, "We don't have much time to face each other. Whether you are Bunnies or not, this time is very precious to me. I want to talk as if I'm with my friends today."

Referring to her press conference where she exposed issues within HYBE, Min Hee-jin said, "I am not here to reveal anything or talk about dopamine-inducing stories. I never liked the term 'dopamine'. That press conference was the worst moment of my life, something I wanted to erase. The term 'dopamine' doesn't resonate with me."

She added, "It was very painful for me that the press conference became a meme. It was a desperate story for me, and seeing it being trivialized and turned into a meme was hard to accept. Although I felt relieved after doing it, it was also very bittersweet."

'Da Vinci Motel' is a cultural convergence event by Hyundai Card that features talks, performances, exhibitions, and busking, allowing attendees to meet icons from various fields such as art, academia, business, and technology.

Meanwhile, on the 11th, NewJeans members held an emergency live broadcast on YouTube, demanding Min Hee-jin's reinstatement by the 25th. On the 25th, HYBE proposed a compromise by refusing to reinstate her as CEO but offering to hold a board meeting to reappoint her as an internal director, which Min Hee-jin declined.
