Actor Lee Tae-gon Hints at Marriage: 'I Have Someone in Mind'
On the 7th, KBS 2TV's 'Men Who Do Housework Season 2' (hereafter 'Salimnam') will feature Lee Tae-gon heading to a fire station with senior actor Choi Jae-sung.
On this day, Lee Tae-gon meets Choi Jae-sung, a youth star who was once the epitome of the 'flower boy tough guy'. Choi Jae-sung, who has rarely appeared on variety shows, catches the eye, and the two actors share their latest updates and reminisce about old times. They then head to the fire station to serve special Chuseok meals to firefighters.
Lee Tae-gon, who was a fan of Choi Jae-sung in the past, recalls their first meeting during the drama 'Yeon Gaesomun' and reveals their 18-year-long friendship. They reminisce about being drinking buddies during the filming of 'Yeon Gaesomun', and Choi Jae-sung recalls staying at Lee Tae-gon's house, saying, "I thought you were quite wealthy. That's why you looked even cooler riding a horse," piquing curiosity.
Choi Jae-sung also shares behind-the-scenes stories from his iconic drama 'Eyes of Dawn'. He reveals the story of having to eat a live snake and a kiss scene with Chae Si-ra in front of 3,000 people, sparking interest. Additionally, Choi Jae-sung surprises everyone by revealing that he almost played the role of Tae-soo, which was taken by Choi Min-soo in 'Sandglass'.
The topic of Lee Tae-gon's marriage is also brought up. Choi Jae-sung, who married singer Hwang Se-ok at the age of 34 and has three children, asks Lee Tae-gon, "When are you getting married? What is your ideal type?" Lee Tae-gon responds, "It has to be love at first sight. I have someone in mind right now. I feel like 'that's the one'," causing a stir in the studio.
MC Baek Ji-young, shocked by Lee Tae-gon's revelation, says, "They say you have marriage luck this year. Are you trying to fit it in this year? I guess I should attend your wedding," expressing her excitement.
