Solji, a former idol, proves her potential as a musical actress
Singer Solji has once again proven her potential as a musical actress through the musical 'Hero'.

On the 10th, Solji successfully concluded the last performance of the musical 'Hero' at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Grand Theater, leaving the audience with a deep resonance until the very end.

Solji took on the role of Empress Myeongseong's last court lady, Seol-hee, captivating the audience with her perfect performances every time. She portrayed Seol-hee's resentment and patriotism with delicate acting, further increasing the audience's immersion.

In particular, Solji's explosive singing ability was enough to draw admiration from the audience. From her detailed acting to her singing ability, Solji conveyed Seolhee's emotions to the audience, leaving a deep impression, and the audience responded to Solji's performance with a standing ovation.

This musical 'Hero' previously attracted even more attention as a 15th anniversary performance. Solji immersed herself perfectly into the character of Seol-hee to the point that it was hard to believe that she was the first cast member for 'Hero', and she completed a performance that gave the audience the utmost satisfaction, receiving favorable reviews.

Solji said, “It still feels like a dream that I got to appear in the production I dreamed of, practice with the cast, and even perform on stage. It was an honor to be able to work on such a great production, and more than anything, I was happy the whole time because I was with such great people. I will do my best in the remaining local performances. Please continue to show lots of interest and love for the musical ‘Hero.’”

Solji, who has been active in a variety of genres, from girl group and solo singer to musicals. With Solji's first musical challenge, 'Six the Musical', and now 'Hero', people are looking forward to Solji's future as she establishes herself as a musical actress.
