One day, last April, she appeared in a video introducing female waitresses at Japanese entertainment establishments, causing controversy. In the video, Haru introduced herself as Sakura Lulu and said, "I have been working as a K-pop idol for 6 years since I was 18. Now I am working as a waitress to save money to open a dance studio."

After debuting in August 2018, Nature, a group to which Haru belongs, announced the group's disbandment on April 27 in the aftermath of suspicions about Haru's work at an entertainment establishment.
