The netizen who said he encountered Jung Joon-young explained in detail the situation at the time he encountered Jung Joon-young through the X post. He started by saying, "I met Jung Joon-young in Lyon. He was involved in the singer Seungri and the Burning Sun scandal."
He said, "I ordered a drink at a club in Lyon, but the wrong drink was ordered. A man suddenly appeared and spoke to me, saying he would drink the drink himself. It was the drink I was planning to throw away, so I gave it to him, saying he understood. The moment I saw his face, I felt like I was in Korea. “I remembered a famous person who caused a big problem, so I didn’t ask because I was afraid I might offend him, but I memorized the tattoo on his body and he said ‘Jun.’”
The netizen continued, "Another man soon came up to me and asked me if I knew who the man I had talked to earlier was. He then said that he was a very famous singer in Korea. The man who was called 'Jun' was soon engaging in skinship with another woman, and I saw him. “I wanted to warn the woman to be careful,” he said, explaining the situation.
A netizen said, "Before he left, 'Jun' asked me for my Instagram ID. His account seemed to be a household account with only 4 people following him. He sent me a private message and said, 'I'm thinking of opening a new Korean restaurant in Lyon.' He had the basics. “I thought you spoke French,” he added.
Previously, Jung Joon-young was said to have tried to prepare to open a restaurant in Paris, France in 2018, but the plan fell through as he was caught up in the Burning Sun scandal.
Jung Joon-young was sentenced to prison in the second trial in September 2020 on charges of gang-raping a woman with Choi Jong-hoon and others in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do in January 2016 and Daegu in March 2016, and distributing illegally filmed videos on 11 occasions in a group chat room. Sentenced to 5 years in prison. He was later released from Mokpo Prison in Jeollanam-do last March.
