Kang Dong-won, “Lee Jong-seok, he was really white, he looked like a puppy”

Actor Kang Dong-won expressed his feelings about working with Lee Jong-seok, who made a special appearance in 'The Designer'.

On the 24th, an interview regarding the movie 'The Designer' was held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and various stories were told.

'The Designer' is a movie about the story of Yeong-il, a designer who manipulates a commissioned murder into an accidental death and gets caught up in an unexpected incident. It is based on the Hong Kong movie ‘Accident’ (2009).

Kang Dong-won gave a passionate performance as Yeong-il, a designer who manipulated the contract killings into accidental deaths. From his cold and chilly face, Youngil is portrayed as confused as he is unable to trust anyone.

Actor Lee Jong-seok made a special appearance in the movie, drawing attention. Lee Jong-seok appears as a double-eyed man who has a lot of influence on Young-il. Kang Dong-won said, "I had fun filming it. I've seen it once before in a private setting. I enjoyed filming it, but it was disappointing that it was short. Thank you for making a special appearance."

Director Lee Yo-seop previously said that Kang Dong-won and Lee Jong-seok are a meeting of a black handsome man and a white handsome man. Kang Dong-won joked, "I burst out laughing when I heard that. Lee Jong-seok is really white. I'm black, and especially Lee Jong-seok looks like a puppy in the movie. I liked it because it felt quite the opposite."

The Designer will be released on May 29th.
