Le Seraphim's Coachella's second performance…Will they show us 'their best performance'?
‘Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival’ (hereinafter ‘Coachella’) is the largest music festival in the United States. So far, Korea's representative K-pop artists such as Hyukoh, the group Epik High, and Blackpink have appeared. In particular, last year, Blackpink became a hot topic by becoming the first Asian artist to be selected as the main headliner. This year, several K-pop singers, including ATEEZ, The Rose, Peggy Koo, and 88 Rising, will attend.
Le Seraphim, who appeared on stage for the first time on the 14th, attracted attention by going on stage a year and a half after her debut and recording the shortest period of solo performance since debut among K-pop singers. They performed 10 songs on stage for about 40 minutes.
Le Seraphim's Coachella performance was not well received. On the stage held on the 13th, Le Seraphim was criticized by the public for her unstable singing skills. Although it showed an excellent performance of high difficulty, the singing continued to be out of tune and the pitch was unstable, leaving a mark on the audience.
Due to this talent controversy, Blackpink's stage, which was well-received last year, surfaced again and was talked about, and was even compared to the group Ateez's stage the day before Le Seraphim's stage. ATEEZ, the first K-pop boy group to perform on the Coachella stage, received favorable reviews for their excellent performance of songs arranged in rock versions with Korean performances such as Ganggangsullae.
Despite continued criticism of her skills, Le Seraphim member Sakura added to the controversy by saying, "I put on the best performance at Coachella." After that, the public's attention is focused on whether Le Seraphim, who has returned to the Coachella stage, will be able to show a different side this time.
Le Seraphim's second stage at Coachella can be watched through Coachella YouTube Live at around 2:30 PM Korean time on the 21st.
