Ahead of this world tour, Kai expressed his unique ambition, saying, "Anyone can do it, but I want to take a path that no one has taken before." Regarding this, Kai said, "I don't think there are many difficult things in the world. It just seems like a nuisance." He continued, "For example, why is it so difficult for us to go to the gym and exercise to get in shape? It's just a nuisance. They say we should eat well, but why is eating so difficult? It's a nuisance. I think the most difficult thing is to keep doing annoying things consistently. “He said.
Kai said, "There are many great actors in the musical world. It's not that they don't have the ability to do a world tour. However, there must have been a lot of troublesome things. Things like researching, planning, and preparing to make this a reality." He said. He said, “I may be a little perverted, but I like ‘untangling necklace strings.’ My fingertips are not sharp and my eyesight is not good. But pervertedly, I feel a pleasure in untangling something. I want to experience this first and maybe my juniors will follow me. “If there were people, I think they could at least give me data like ‘I wore red at a performance in China and the reaction wasn’t as good as I expected.’” he said with a smile.
In addition to the world tour, Kai also talked about another bucket list item. He said, "As I get older, I realize more and more how difficult it is to realize what I had in mind in reality. I had many bucket lists, but working in Korea and Japan as a musical actor was on my bucket list at the beginning of my debut, so I had a lot of fun." “I made an effort,” he said. He continued, "The fact that the two concerts in Japan were sold out shows that there is a lot of anticipation. I have held concerts in Japan every year, and each year, more people come. Those are accomplishments that I am satisfied with." He also said, "If I have accomplished this much, I think other juniors who will follow in my footsteps will have achieved even greater achievements. Because of HOT, there was Big Bang, and because of Big Bang, BTS was also possible.
