According to the theater industry on the 17th, Kim Sae-ron will appear in the play 'Dongchimi', which will be performed at the CTS Art Hall in Noryangjin-dong, Seoul from May 3 to 12.

‘Dongchimi’ is a work about the deep love of an old couple and the friendship between three siblings, and premiered in 2009. Kim Sae-ron was double cast with Ahn Soo-hyun as the younger daughter Jeong-yeon.

It has been about two years since Kim Sae-ron resumed her acting activities. In May 2022, Kim Sae-ron had an accident while driving drunk and hit a guardrail, a street tree, and a transformer, and took some time to reflect. At the time, Kim Sae-ron's blood alcohol level was 0.2%, well above the license revocation level (0.08%).

Due to the drunk driving controversy, Kim Sae-ron withdrew from the SBS drama 'Trolley', in which she was cast at the time, and was edited out of the Netflix original series 'Hounds of Dogs', which was being filmed.
