Super Junior's Ryeowook marries ♥Ari
Ryeowook announced the marriage news on his SNS on the 29th. A photo of the handwritten letter was also posted.
In the letter, Ryeowook said, “I have news that I want to share directly with our elves and my most precious friends.”
Ryeowook said, “As you know, there is a friend I am meeting,” and “During the time we spent together, I naturally developed a desire to become another family with him.” He then announced, “It is not a sudden decision, we have been thinking about it for a long time, and after a long discussion with the members and company, we will be getting married at the end of May this spring.”
He also expressed his feelings toward his fans. Ryeowook said, “I am always grateful to the ELFs who supported me even though I was not perfect and clumsy, and on the other hand, I feel sorry for those of you who were surprised by this news.” He added, “Nevertheless, please support me on performing with the members. “I will continue to show everyone who wants to listen to my songs that I will continue to work hard as Ryeowook of Super Junior and as Ryeowook the singer,” he said.
Ryeowook's agency SM Entertainment said in an official statement, "The wedding ceremony will be held privately out of consideration for the bride-to-be and her family. We hope you will send a lot of support and congratulations to Ryeowook as he prepares for a new start in life."
Ryeowook debuted as a member of the group Super Junior in 2005. In 2020, he acknowledged his romantic relationship with Ari, a member of the group Tahiti. Ari is 7 years younger than Ryeowook.

hello. This is Super Junior's Ryeowook.
I have news that I want to share directly with my elves, my most precious friends, who always support me with all my might and send me love. I am writing this letter with the hope that my sincerity will be conveyed to you.
November 6, 2005 I first met the elves in early winter when I was 19 years old.
In no time, I have become 38-year-old Kim Ryeowook, 20 years since his debut.
Then and now, our elves have always stayed by our side. I think we have become stronger as we have experienced both happy and sad times.
So, while I want to be the first to say this, I am also more cautious about saying it.
As you all know, I have a friend that I am seeing.
During the time we spent together, I naturally developed a desire to become another family with him.
