'Song Jong-guk's daughter' Song Ji-ah takes third place in golf competition
Song Jia, daughter of former soccer player Song Jong-guk, won an award at a golf tournament.
On the 16th, Park Yeon-soo posted several photos and a post that started with, "Is it a dream? Even when I was asked to do something I liked, I looked down on golf. And I was conceited." The released photo shows Song Ji-ah holding an award certificate and plaque. Song Ji-ah took third place in the ‘105th National Sports Festival Gyeonggi Province Representative Selection’.
He continued, “I started late, but I thought that since my genetic DNA was different, if I had good athletic ability and worked hard, I could catch up quickly. No, that’s definitely not the case in golf.” “Effort, a good coach, a good PT teacher and mental leader, but the most important thing here is money!” he added. Park Yeon-soo said, "When I hit the limit and the wall, when I cried and asked if we should stop playing golf, he always encouraged me not to give up and gave me strength, and when the results did not match my efforts, I said to the crying Jia, 'You are doing so well now. “We came this far by encouraging each other not to give up.”
In addition, "This is how the award comes. It's the first time I've done well on the last day, so I just thanked Jia and felt honored, so I didn't even look at the grades. It was Friday, so I bought a hamburger and was about to get on the highway because I was afraid I would get stuck, but I got a call from an unknown number. It's the Gyeonggi Province Association, and Song Jia came in third place. “I was supposed to present an award, but they asked me where it was. I was really dazed.”
He also said, "I had no money for this training camp, so I went to Australia alone and practiced at this pro's house for two months. It was so heartbreaking to see Jia come home with black skin all ruined, but it was erased in one blow. I am really proud of the calf. “Thank you. And it’s really cool,” he said happily.
Meanwhile, Park Yeon-soo is raising one daughter and one son alone after divorcing former soccer player Song Jong-guk.
