SHINee's Taemin leaves SM and joins Big Planet Made... “End of worries, new start”

SHINee's Taemin revealed his feelings about leaving SM Entertainment.

On the 6th, Taemin expressed his luck through a fan communication platform, saying, "I wanted to inform you discreetly because I didn't want to cause unnecessary worry, but it ended up like this."

He continued, "I think I'll be making a new start soon. I've been thinking about a lot of things since last year and decided to leave the company. I also had a good discussion with the members."

He also announced that the group's activities will continue with SM Entertainment, saying, "I will continue to watch the show as I go. Thank you for believing in my choice and supporting me."

Taemin added, "I have always been Lee Taemin, and I will continue to be that way in the future. I believe that many better things will happen and I will make them happen. Please take good care of me in the future as SHINee and as Taemin."

Taemin will end his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment at the end of March. SM Entertainment said, "SHINee's activities will continue without change at SM, and individual activity contracts will be decided according to each member's preference."

Taemin's new agency is known as Big Planet Made Entertainment.
