Son Seok-gu shows another charm as a reporter character in the movie 'Troll Factory'

'Troll Factory' is a work that tells the story of what happens when an anonymous informant appears claiming to have manipulated online public opinion to Lim Sang-jin (played by Son Seok-gu), a reporter who was suspended after writing an article about a large company. Son Seok-gu plays reporter Im Sang-jin.

In this episode of 'Troll Factory', he transforms into Lim Sang-jin, a reporter who realizes that his misinformation was fabricated and tries to turn the situation around. In the play, he begins with a duplicitous appearance as a reporter aiming for a scoop rather than a sense of duty, and after meeting the mysterious informant Chattakkat (played by Kim Dong-hwi), he goes to any lengths to reveal the true nature of the comment unit, also known as Team Alep (played by Seong-cheol Kim, Dong-hwi Kim, and Kyung-hong Hong). It will present a complex aspect. In particular, in the process of pursuing the truth related to Team Alep, he will portray a mixture of his desires as a reporter and his personal desires, and will show a three-dimensional character that is different from the typical reporter character.
Director Ahn Gook-jin said, "When I tried to substitute actor Son Seok-gu for the character of Im Sang-jin, I couldn't think of any actor who could replace him. If it wasn't Son Seok-gu, casting would have been very difficult."
'Troll Factory' is scheduled to be released on March 27th.
