Actress Kim Ji-in announced her screen debut with the movie ‘Strange Train’.

'Ghost Train' is a horror movie in which Da-kyung (played by Joo Hyun-young), a YouTuber with the lowest number of views, meets the station manager (played by Jeon Bae-soo) of a mysterious subway station to find the source of a true horror story, and encounters several strange stories. It is a follow-up to 'Ghost Mansion', which received favorable reviews in 2021, and was recognized even before production by winning the Asian Fantastic Film Production Network's Discovery Award in Korea at the 2023 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN).

Ji-in Kim played the role of Hye-jin, a part-time worker at a convenience store. Hyejin is a character with a bold and honest charm unique to the MZ generation, and becomes embroiled in an incident after a chance encounter. The agency explains that Kim Ji-in will complete the episode by expressing in detail Hye-jin's emotional changes as she gets caught up in the incident, in addition to her unique lively and cheerful charm.

Kim Ji-in is a newcomer who became known through the web drama ‘Just One Bite’. He continued to grow through work activities such as MBC's 'Extraordinary Discovery', tvN's 'Memorist', JTBC's 'Idol', and tvN's 'XX+XY'. Kim Ji-in, who was loved for her emotional acting that raised the empathy index of the 1020 generation, stimulates curiosity about what kind of transformation she will show through this 'Strange Train'.

‘Strange Train’ started filming last January and is currently filming.
