Kyuhyun finally apologizes for SM parking fee controversy

Kyuhyun, a member of the group Super Junior, apologized for his remarks about parking fees.

Kyuhyun appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM's 'DinDin's Music High', which aired on the 23rd, and explained his controversial remarks about parking fees.

On this day, DinDin asked Kyuhyun, "Didn't you say you were disappointed when SM Entertainment asked you to pay for parking?" Kyuhyun said, "I said it as a joke, but it caused a big stir. I thought I should explain."

Previously, on the 20th, Kyuhyun sparked controversy by mentioning on JTBC's 'Knowing Brothers', "I went to SM to practice because of Super Junior, but they told me to pay separate parking fees."

He said, "Before that, I drove my own car when scheduled, so I couldn't register it as a company car. In fact, even when I was with SM, I had to pay for parking. At that time, the company took care of it."

Kyuhyun then added, "I thought this was too much, but it turned out that the company also rented the building, so the company employees also pay parking fees. Then I thought I was very mistaken." He added, "(The company officials) weren't very angry. They said, 'We pay parking fees too.' They said that all registered cars pay parking fees. They also said that all other company employees who are not registered also pay parking fees." reported.

Lastly, Kyuhyun apologized, saying, "I would like to offer you a very, very profound, heartfelt apology. I said it as a joke, but I got teary-eyed while talking. But it was a misunderstanding on my part."

Kyuhyun debuted in the group Super Junior in 2006, but left his agency SM Entertainment last year and found a new home at Antenna, which includes Yoo Jae-seok, Lee Hyo-ri, and Lee Seo-jin.
