Korean actor Steven Yeun (Korean name Yeon Sang-yeop) won the Best Actor in a TV One-act Drama award at the 81st Golden Globe Awards.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles (LA), USA on the 7th (local time).

Steven Yeun took home the Best Actor trophy for the Netflix drama 'Angry People', in which many Korean actors and production crew participated.

The Golden Globe Awards is one of America's representative awards ceremonies hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. However, it was criticized for various discrimination controversies and suspicions of corruption, and starting this year, the number of judges was tripled, and their countries of origin and gender were diversified to reform the system.

'Angry People' is a work that depicts what happens when a reckless driving incident occurs between a contractor whose work is not going well and a businessman who is dissatisfied with his life.
