TWICE Nayeon donates again

Girl group Twice member Nayeon joined the Fruit of Love Community Chest of Korea as the nation's first honor society member for 2024.

According to the Fruit of Love Community Chest of Korea on the 5th, the Honor Signing Ceremony held at the JYP Entertainment building in Gangdong-gu, Seoul on the 4th was attended by Nayeon, Ulsan Fruit of Love Chairman Jeon Young-do, Ulsan Honor Club Chairman Park Jeong-hee and other officials.

Nayeon was named the first Fruit of Love member of 2024 and the nation's 3333rd honor member (Ulsan No. 126). The 30 million won donated by Nayeon on this day will be used for surgical expenses for the medically underprivileged through Ulsan Donggang Hospital, operated by Donggang Medical Foundation.

It was later revealed that Nayeon anonymously donated 20 million won for treatment costs for low-income patients at Donggang Hospital in 2022 to Ulsan Fruit of Love. We donated money as we sympathized with the pain of local medical patients who were not receiving proper treatment due to poor medical support compared to those in the metropolitan area. After hearing that the treatment expenses of 10 underprivileged patients were supported, he donated an additional 30 million won and became the first Honor Society member in the country in 2024.

Nayeon said, "It is a great honor to join the first Honor Society in 2024. Although I have a small heart, I will continue to work hard this year and become an artist who leaves a positive impact."

Ulsan Fruit of Love Chairman Jeon Yeong-do said, "I would like to sincerely thank Nayeon for signing up as an Honor Society member through an anonymous donation so that the good influence of warm sharing can spread widely. Today's donation will help people pay attention to local medical conditions and address welfare issues." “I hope this will be an opportunity to resolve the problem,” he said.

Nayeon has continued to work as a sharing star along with Twice members. In 2020, he donated 50 million won to the Fruit of Love and participated in special fundraising to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and recover from damage. We have consistently practiced sharing, such as donating 200 million won to Save the Children during the 2023 Turkiye-Syria earthquake.
