“I hope Lee Sun-kyun’s great work and talent will be remembered”... 'Pachinko' writer mourns the late Lee Seon-gyun
Writer Lee Min-jin of Apple TV's original drama 'Pachinko' paid tribute to actor Lee Sun-gyun (48) after he passed away.
On the 27th, writer Lee Min-jin said, "Lee Sun-kyun, may the deceased rest in peace." He added, "Among his many wonderful works, 'Parasite' is especially worthy of praise, and 'My Mister' was outstanding. I hope that Lee Sun-kyun's great work and talent will be remembered. "He posted.
This morning, Seoul's Seongbuk Police Station announced that Lee Seon-gyun was found collapsed inside a vehicle parked in a park in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The police estimate that Lee Sun-gyun made an extreme choice.
The agency said, "We are sorry to deliver sad news. Actor Lee Sun-kyun passed away on December 27th. The funeral will be held quietly with the bereaved family and colleagues in attendance. We express our deepest condolences on the deceased's final journey." He said.
Previously, Lee Sun-kyun was investigated by the police three times on charges related to drug use. He always denied taking drugs, saying, “It’s unfair.” On the 26th, a lie detector test was requested.
