In the 25th episode of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Hyoshim's Life,' which aired on the 17th, Tae-ho (Ha Jun) despaired after receiving Hyosim (Uee)'s notice that "I don't think I can be your girlfriend." “Aren’t you also part of the great Taesan Group? I could no longer catch Hyoshim, who turned away, saying, “I mistook my subject for a moment and let my guard down.” This was because Tae-ho, who did not want to hurt Hyo-shim, who lived faithfully without spending a single penny, due to problems with his family, which had more money than anyone else, was caught up in a problem that he was concerned about.
However, an incident occurred where Taeho misunderstood filial piety. Due to a mistake made by a fitness center employee, photos of TV live anchor Soo-kyung (Lim Joo-eun) in an embarrassing exercise pose were leaked. Soo-kyung, who felt ashamed, was furious and threatened to sue for defamation and have the fitness center suspended. Hyosim knelt in front of Su-kyung and begged for forgiveness and endured all kinds of insults through gritted teeth, but it was no use. So, I had no choice but to ask Tae-min (Go Joo-won) for help in persuading Soo-kyung. Because of this incident, Tae-ho began to think that he was not a person Hyosim could trust and rely on more than his older brother Tae-min. Tae-ho, who was disappointed by this, also said goodbye to Hyo-shim, saying, “Take care of yourself.”
After such a stormy day, Hyo-shim was exhausted both mentally and physically, and her mother Seon-sun (Yoon Mi-ra) once again shouldered the burden. Seon-soon's mind was filled with restless worries that Hyo-shim might get fired from the fitness center while dating a member and that she would not be able to help her second child, Hyo-jun (Seol Jeong-hwan), take the bar exam. So, I persuaded Hyo-shim to not think anything else and just help her mother until Hyo-jun becomes a lawyer.
This ignited the feelings of filial piety that he had been enduring. She exploded at her mother for not caring about her daughter, who has become a money-making machine and has not been able to date for over 30 years. Hyosim couldn't eat or wear what she wanted, and she even took a leave of absence from college because of her older brother and younger sister. Moreover, my mother lost the money she had saved for 10 years to open her own gym. Hyo-shim burst out crying, “Why do I have to endure it?” and realized even more keenly that Tae-ho was the only one who knew when even her mother didn’t know how hard it was for her. So, I ran to the Han River where I first met him.
There was Taeho, who had bought a coat and was waiting for Hyosim, who couldn't afford warm clothes for herself in the cold winter. Tae-ho, who saw Hyosim running towards him, approached her. “Our Hyosim has arrived,” he said, looking at her with sunken eyes, then hugged her and kissed her. The eyes fluttered as if congratulating the two-way romance between the two people who had finally come into perfect contact. It was an extremely beautiful and romantic ending.
Meanwhile, Taemin confirmed through Sook-hyang (Lee Hwi-hyang) that on the day his uncle, Vice Chairman Kang Jun-beom, went on vacation to Daegwallyeong villa, his father Jin-beom (Kim Gyu-cheol) followed him. Also, looking at the real culprit, who was shaking and crying, saying, “Everyone suspects that I killed your grandmother and the TV live show, but I didn’t kill him,” he promised, “I will definitely protect you.” Moreover, Taeho's fierce provocation, “Can you give up everything for Hyosim?” struck Taemin in the head.
Taemin, who went to persuade Soo-kyung, changed his hard-line attitude and said, “Let’s think seriously about what Soo-kyung wants from now on.” When Su-kyung dropped the complaint with Taemin's help, she also flatly refused Hyosim's offer to treat her to dinner as a thank you. It was a part that implied that Taemin had finally given up on his filial piety and made a decision for the Taesan family and his father.
