Former BigHit member appointed as new CEO of SLL

JoongAng Group hired President Jeon In-cheon, an expert in management, corporate innovation, and global strategy, as CEO of its major affiliate SLL.

The new CEO, Jeon In-cheon, was born in 1975 and served as Chief Financial Officer at various companies, starting with P&G Korea, Mundipharma, ADT Caps (now SK Shielders), and Big Hit Entertainment (now Hybe). He served as CEO at Young Industries and Timon.

A JoongAng Group official said, “CEO Jeon In-cheon is the right person to successfully carry out SLL’s initial public offering (IPO) and grow SLL into the best global studio based on this.” He added, “The recruitment of a young and dynamic CEO reflects the group’s will to accelerate change. “It contains the meaning of generational change,” he said.

JoongAng Group previously appointed Vice President Park Jun-seo, born in 1977, as CEO of SLL Production Division in a regular personnel reshuffle. CEO Jeon In-cheon will serve as the overall CEO of SLL, and Vice President Park Jun-seo will focus on strengthening content production capabilities as the head of the production division.

SLL is a studio under Joongang Group, including Drama House Studio, Betty & Creators, BA Entertainment, Studio Bird, Studio Slam, Studio Phoenix, Anthology Studio, NPO Entertainment, wiip, Climax Studio, Perfect Storm Film, Production H, Film. We are collaborating with 15 production labels, including Monster, How Pictures, and Hijium Studio.

This year, JTBC dramas such as 'Agency', 'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook', 'King the Land', and 'Strong Woman Gangnam-soon', as well as the movies 'Crime City 3' and 'Ransom', which won the screenplay award at the Cannes International Series Festival in France, are numerous. Content was presented.
