New Jeans, the first K-pop girl group to be honored as a Billboard performer [2023 BBMAs]

Girl group New Jeans attended the ‘2023 Billboard Music Awards’ (2023 BBMA) and appeared on stage.

On this day, New Jeans was the first K-pop girl group to perform at the ‘Billboard Music Awards’. They performed 'Super Shy' and 'OMG', which entered Billboard's main single chart 'Hot 100'.

New Jeans was nominated for the 'BBMA' award just one year after its debut and achieved the feat of being the most nominated K-pop artist.

In addition, New Jeans is ranked ‘Top Billboard Global (Excl. US) Artist’, ‘Top Global K-Pop Artist’, ‘Top K-Pop Album’ (Get Up), ‘Top K -It was nominated for a total of 5 nominations in 4 categories, including ‘Pop Song’ (Ditto, OMG).
