Stray Kids, a Billboard performer, won the ‘Top K-Pop Album’ category [2023 BBMAs]

The group Stray Kids won the Top K-Pop Album category at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards. Additionally, Stray Kids was selected as a performer for the awards ceremony and finished the performance.

On the morning of the 20th (Korean time), the '2023 Billboard Music Awards (2023 BBMA)' was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA.

On this day, Stray Kids became the second K-pop boy group to perform at the 'Billboard Music Awards', following BTS.

They completed the stage with a sophisticated performance by performing the title song 'Special' from their 3rd full-length album 'Five Star' and the title song 'Rock' from their new album 'Rockstar' (樂-STAR).

Additionally, Stray Kids received the honor of winning the Top K-Pop Album category with '5-Star ★★★★★'.

The 'Top K-Pop Album' category is a new award category created this year, with four new K-Pop categories including 'Top K-Pop Tour', 'Top Global K-Pop Artist', and 'Top Global K-Pop Song'. In the Top Global K-Pop Album category, Jimin's first solo album 'FACE', Twice's 12th mini album 'READY TO BE', Stray Kids' 3rd full-length album '5-STAR', Tomorrow by Together's 5th mini album 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION' and New Genes' 2nd EP 'Get Up' were released.

Meanwhile, the Billboard Music Awards are considered one of the three major American pop music awards ceremonies, along with the American Music Awards and the Grammy Awards.
