'The Walking Dead' teen actor dies from 'fentanyl poisoning'

Actor Tyler Sanders, who appeared in the popular American drama 'The Walking Dead', died from fentanyl poisoning. Age 18.

Page Six reported on the 29th (local time), “The LA County coroner announced that six months after Sanders’ death, the cause of death was fentanyl poisoning.”

Sanders was found dead at his home in Los Angeles last June. LA authorities announced that the autopsy revealed strong narcotic painkillers.

Sanders' agent, Pedro Tapia, expressed condolences, saying, "Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He came from a great family, and we ask that his privacy be respected."

The deceased's parents also said, "We decided to share Sanders' story to advance the conversation about this widespread problem (fentanyl abuse) in society," adding, "Sanders was trying to overcome mental health issues and turned to drugs instead of finding social pleasure. “I fell in,” he said.

“It is very difficult to lose a child to fentanyl addiction. I never thought something like this would happen to my family,” he said. “I hope that through our story, we can save someone else.”
