ITZY Lia will not participate in new album production and world tour
ITZY Lia, who was on hiatus due to health issues, will not be able to participate in the production of a new album or world tour.

On the 17th, Lia posted a long handwritten letter on ITZY's official channel, saying, "I miss you MIDZY (Itzy fandom). Hello, this is Lia."

He said, “I am sending the news directly to the fans who may be worried through a handwritten letter. “After a lot of thought and consideration, I will not be able to participate in the production of this album and world tour and will take the time to focus more on recovering my health,” he said.

At the same time, Lia said, “For the fans who may be disappointed, I am releasing my solo track ‘Blassom’ with a lyric video. “This is a song that contains my sincerity that I want to convey to my fans,” he said, expressing his affection for his fans.

Lastly, he promised the following, “I promise that I will come back in better shape when I am healthy enough to repay the support given by the members during the period when we cannot be together!”

Last September, Lia suspended her activities due to health reasons. His agency, JYP Entertainment, said, “He is experiencing extreme tension and anxiety,” and “We have received medical advice that he needs stability and treatment.”

Meanwhile, ITZY will be active as a four-member group with Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna until Lia returns.

■ The following is the full text of Ria’s letter.

I miss you. Hello, this is Lia.

We are delivering the news directly to fans who may be worried through handwritten letters.

After much thought and deliberation, I will not be able to participate in the production of this album and world tour, and I would like to spend more time focusing on recovering my health.

For fans who might be disappointed, I am releasing my solo track 'Blossom' along with a lyric video.

This is a song that contains my sincere feelings that I want to convey to my fans.

How are our believers doing?

I am doing well on my own.

I promise that I will come back in better shape when I am healthy enough to repay the support given by MIDZY during the period when I was not able to be with them!

Thank you for always trusting and waiting for me.
