Actress Park Ha-sun returns to the theater stage for the first time in 13 years.

Park Ha-sun, who first appeared on stage in the play 'Nap' in 2010, has confirmed her appearance in the play 'Sea Village Diary', which opens in October 2023.

The play 'Sea Village Diary' is based on the movie 'Sea Village Diary' directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, and it plainly shows the process of three sisters, Sachi, Yoshino, and Chika, accepting their half-sister Suzu as family, giving the audience a warm feeling. A work that received favorable reviews for its presentation. Sachi, played by Park Ha-sun, is a character who creates a new family by inviting Suzu, the eldest and half-sister of the sisters, to live together.

In response, Park Ha-sun said, “I really wanted to do it again because I feel like I am energized and recharged by the audience, and I am happy to do it after 13 years. I have always been a fan of director Hirokazu Kore-eda, so I also watched the original movie ‘Sea Village Diary’ with great emotion.” He continued, “I think it is a great honor to be on stage at the Seoul Arts Center. “I am looking forward to working with great actors, so I will prepare well and meet the audience in October,” he said meaningfully.

In the recent movie 'Where Do You Want to Go', Park Ha-sun played the role of Myeong-ji, who lost her husband in a sudden accident and went to Warsaw, Poland, deeply moving the audience. Park Ha-sun, who is active in various fields such as movies, dramas, entertainment, and radio DJs and is loved by the public, is raising expectations for another challenge to see how her deep talent will be displayed on the theater stage.

Meanwhile, the play 'Sea Village Diary' starring Park Ha-sun will be performed at the Jayu Small Theater of the Seoul Arts Center from October 8 to November 19.
