Shin Ha-kyun transforms into an elite villain

The first still cut showing Shin Ha-kyun's acting variations in 'Biography of a Villain' has been released.

Genie TV's original drama 'Biography of the Villain', which will be released for the first time on October 14th, is a crime noir drama that tells the story of a subsistence lawyer who meets an absolute villain and is transformed into an elite villain. It is attracting attention as a work that continues Genie TV's well-made content lineup such as 'Paper Moon', 'House with a Yard', and 'Nam Nam'.

At the center of it all, Shin Ha-kyun takes on the role of Han Dong-soo, a character who transforms into a villain, and heralds a variety of acting variations. In the play, Han Dong-soo is a lawyer who makes a living by blindly applying to visit inmates he has never met before. His life is shaken when he meets Seo Do-young (played by Kim Young-kwang), the second-in-command in a criminal organization, and he crosses the line into the world of evil. This is a part where Shin Ha-kyun's passionate performance, showing both the faces of good and evil in one play, is expected.

The still cut released on the 13th shows the emotional changes that unfold as Han Dong-soo, who was working hard as a lawyer to make a living, gets caught up in a case. Inside the detention center, Han Dong-su is smiling and dealing with inmates. He is a former office manager and does not belong to a large law firm. He is looking for work to earn money. The following still cut shows Han Dong-soo overcome with fear and anxiety, suggesting that a change has come to his daily life. It stimulates curiosity about what dangerous incident he has stepped into and how Han Dong-soo will become a villain as a result.

In the previously released teaser and poster for Han Dong-soo's character, Shin Ha-kyun attracted attention by powerfully capturing Han Dong-soo's appearance on the border between good and evil. “Just feel it. What is it like to be stepped on?” made people curious about the process of creating a dramatic villain, not just a simple villain, but one that Shin Ha-kyun will portray.
