A childish war of nerves with Ahn Jung-hwan and Choo Seong-hoon
'Thank God I Know' A childish fight between two legendary athletes, Ahn Jung-hwan and Choo Seong-hoon, captured both laughter and viewership ratings.

In the 142nd episode of MBC's 'I'm Glad We Don't Fight' (directed by Kim Myeong-jin, hereinafter referred to as 'Thank God I Know'), which aired on October 9 at 9 p.m., Ahn Jung-hwan, Choo Seong-hoon, Julien Kang, and Jeong Da-un's 'Hold My Hand' (I'll Hold It With My Hand) With this in mind, it recorded a viewership rating of 6.2% (Nielsen, nationwide) and maintained the top spot for Monday entertainment programs in its time slot for 75 consecutive weeks. The 2049 viewership rating, a key indicator of channel competitiveness, was 2.2%, ranking first among all entertainment programs aired on Monday. The highest viewer rating per minute soared to 8.1% (metropolitan area).

Choo Sung-hoon, who was scolded by his best friend Ahn Jung-hwan for his clumsy last appearance in 'Hold My Hands'. This time, I took on the challenge of ‘Get My Hands’ again with my dependable fighter younger brothers, Julien Kang and Daun Jeong. Contrary to Choo Seong-hoon's desire to look cool in front of his younger siblings, Ahn Jung-hwan continued to criticize him by the nickname '5th grader' after having his first kiss in the 5th grade. Ahn Jung-hwan explained the joy of teasing him by saying, “Chu Seong-hoon is like a fish that bites right away without even taking a bite when you throw the fishing bait at him.”

When it was time to sail, Seong-Hoon Choo's rank went down to the bottom of the Julien River. ‘Canadian fur seal’ Julien Kang showed off his hunting skills with primitive instincts. On the other hand, Jeong Da-un, the ‘bulldozer on the ring’, was struggling in the sea and fell to last place. Choo Seong-hoon scolded Jeong Da-un, saying, “Nowadays, fighters can’t just be good at fighting,” but he didn’t do much either.

Three fighters attacked at the same time, but they could not overcome village chief Ahn Jung-hwan. Everyone was captivated by the majesty of Ahn Jung-hwan, who grabbed as much seafood as he could and made sashimi with sea squirts, sea urchins, and abalone on the spot. Even Jung Da-un, the younger brother who respects Choo Sung-hoon, praised Ahn Jung-hwan, saying, “Sung-hoon has more charisma than his older brother.”

Even during dinner time, a strange rivalry was formed as Ahn Jung-hwan made seafood cold jjamppong and Choo Seong-hoon made octopus skewers. Even in the process of preparing the dish, Ahn Jung-hwan's mistreatment continued. He said to Choo Seong-hoon, who had forgotten how to prepare an octopus, “Don’t you remember that, Doltaeng?” and had Choo Seong-hoon do all the chores. The sight of Choo Seong-hoon doing everything he was told while grumbling made people laugh.

After all the food was completed, I first tasted Choo Seong-hoon's 'Chukkochi'. Choo Seong-hoon's homemade sauce and chewy octopus legs combine to create a fantastic taste. Ahn Jung-hwan went so far as to recommend a side job, saying, “Open a restaurant.” However, it was not easy to beat the master of soup dishes, ‘Anchonjang’s cold jjamppong’. Choo Seong-hoon admitted his defeat by inhaling cold Jjamppong with his mouth drooling.

Meanwhile, in the scene where Choo Seong-hoon catches and eats noodles while keeping Ahn Jung-hwan in check before dinner begins, and then tastes and is satisfied with his own 'chukkochi', the viewership rating soared to 8.1%, making it the best minute. The chemistry between the two legendary athletes, who bickered until the end but forgot everything in front of delicious food and enjoyed the mukbang, gave viewers a pleasant laugh.

Meanwhile, the trailer released at the end of the broadcast depicted the second round of bickering between Ahn Jung-hwan and Choo Sung-hoon, heightening viewers' expectations. MBC's 'Good to Know' airs every Monday at 9 p.m.
