Sung Si-kyung, manager and 'hunt for scalpers'... “Bad XXs”
Singer Seong Si-kyung caught a scalper.
On the 8th, Seong Si-kyung posted a post on his SNS saying, “It’s our manager’s hobby.”
The released photo shows a scalper selling tickets to Sung Si-kyung's year-end performance. The regular price for a VIP seat ticket for Sung Si-kyung's performance is 154,000 won, but scalpers are demanding 450,000 to 500,000 won, about three times more.
In response, Seong Si-kyung revealed text messages between the manager and the scalper, saying, "Our manager's hobbies" and "He speaks kindly, unlike usual." In the text, Sung Si-kyung's manager said, "It's my first time, so can I know the seat row? I'm a little scared about making a deposit because I heard there are a lot of scams."
The scalper provided ticket information such as date and seat, and manager Sung Si-kyung later revealed that he was an employee of the agency and announced that the ticket would be canceled due to illegal transactions. He also added, “Please note that the police station may contact you.”
Seong Si-kyung said, “Thank you for getting caught,” and “Bad XX. Study with that brain. You should have gone to Seoul National University.”
Sung Si-kyung will hold a year-end concert at KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park from December 29th to 31st.
