showed off his status as a global music powerhouse by breaking new records as the 'first' and 'longest' Korean solo singer on Spotify.
The collaborative song 'Left and Right', released by Jungkook and American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth on June 24 last year, has been on the 'Global Daily Top Songs' chart on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, for 200 days. It showed long-run box office power that entered the market for a while.
In particular, Jungkook has made a name for himself as a global vocalist by being listed on the 'Global Daily Top Song' chart for 200 days, the 'first' and 'longest' period among Korean solo singers.
'Left and Right' achieved 6,792,908 streams (filtered streaming) when it first entered the 'Global Daily Top Song' chart, and Jungkook broke the 'highest' entry streaming record for a K-pop solo singer of all time.
Previously, Jungkook's 'Left and Right' surpassed 100 million streams in 24 days, 200 million streams in 61 days, 300 million streams in 104 days, and 400 million streams in 159 days on Spotify, the 'shortest period' for a Korean solo singer. He also showed great feats.
