BTS Suga confesses his feelings about group ‘disbandment rumors’

BTS Suga opened up about rumors of the group disbanding. BTS had to take a physical break from group activities. However, contrary to the intention, it was distorted into a story about the group's disbandment. There was a misunderstanding, and even though it was frustrating, it was difficult to get a proper explanation.

Recently, the 3rd video of ‘Getting Drunk with Sugar’ (Schüta) was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Bullet TV’. In the released video, Big Bang's Taeyang and Suga met. Taeyang released a duet song 'Vibe' with BTS member Jimin.

Suga has wanted to meet Taeyang for a long time. I carefully opened up about the concerns I was having alone. Among them, the team was mentioned. Although Taeyang is currently working as a solo artist, he was ready to move for the team at any time.

Suga, who sympathized with Taeyang's thoughts, spoke about the 'BTS disbandment rumor'. Last year, BTS was conducting a live broadcast with fans. Members said that team activities would be difficult for the time being. The story came out from their own mouths before the agency's official position.

It must have been consideration for the fans. Also, this was to make it clear that it was a comma and not a period. However, their explanation was misinterpreted. The members' statement that they would focus on individual activities rather than team activities soon led to rumors of the group disbanding.

Suga said he was worried about the situation at the time, saying, “I’m still active, so why are they telling me to stop?” Members are scheduled to enlist sequentially. Jin, the group's eldest brother, is currently serving in the military. In order to fulfill national defense obligations, physical space was essential.

What they chose to do in order to maintain connection with their fans was individual activities. In fact, after the members' announcement, each member is concentrating on their own activities. Jin, RM, J-Hope, etc. have released solo songs and are engaged in various activities.

Other members also announced individual activities. Although there are some regrets about BTS' activities as a whole, fans are satisfied with each individual's appearance.

In the end, the 'disbandment rumors' that arose last year were nothing more than speculation and excessive concerns. BTS is a large group that attracts attention not only domestically but also overseas. Just because we don't participate in group activities doesn't mean that each member's competitiveness decreases.

BTS’ military retirement has already begun. However, the members are active through various contents. It is relatively difficult to feel the gap. There are also achievements through individual activities. Members who have already released solo songs are being recognized for their musicality. Group activities also use commas, not periods. Expectations for a complete group in the future are also rising proportionally.
