As actor Lee Seon-gyun (48) is being summoned and investigated for the second time by the police on the 4th, attention is being paid to whether his tightly shut mouth will open.

On the 4th, Lee Sun-gyun will appear at the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station in Namdong-gu, Incheon, and receive a second summons from the police. Previously, in the first summons investigation, Lee Sun-gyun submitted his cell phone, body hair and urine to be analyzed for drug use.

Some reported that Lee Sun-gyun, who left the police station after being interrogated for about an hour, which was shorter than expected at the time, 'refused to make a statement regarding the charges.' So far, Lee Sun-kyun has remained silent regarding the allegations and has only said, "I will faithfully participate in the police investigation," so the public expressed criticism and disappointment when it was reported that contrary to his pledge, he refused to make a statement during the police investigation.

In relation to this, lawyer Park Seong-cheol of Jipyong Law Firm, who is in charge of Lee Sun-gyun's defense, emphasized, "It is not at all that he exercised his right to refuse to make a statement." He said, "We plan to make a statement regarding the charges when we are officially summoned as early as next week." Regarding the first police summons, he said, "I understood it as a prosecutorial schedule rather than an investigation, and I complied with all prosecutors' requests." He also said, "The suspect will be interrogated in the next formal investigation, and I will make a statement at that time."

Accordingly, many people's attention is focused on whether Lee Sun-gyun's mouth, which has been tightly closed so far, will be opened in this second summons. This second summons is expected to be a key issue as to what claims Lee Sun-kyun will make regarding the charges.

Previously, in the first summons investigation conducted on the 28th, Lee Sun-gyun received a negative reagent test result. However, it is said that this test is only conducted within a maximum of 10 days.

The police sent Lee Seon-kyun's hair and urine to the National Institute of Forensic Science (National Forensic Service) to further analyze his past history. We plan to proceed as an 'urgent' matter in order to receive a quick appraisal result.

The police's position is that they will first secure Lee Seon-gyun's statement before the National Forensic Service's detailed analysis results are released, which will take at least two weeks. It is said that they are also considering applying for an arrest warrant depending on whether Lee Sun-kyun admits to the charges and the number of times he has used drugs.

Seon-gyun Lee is suspected of taking drugs with Mr. A (29, female) at her home. Mr. A is currently under arrest and has a criminal record of being sentenced to prison for drug use several times in the past. Even before he was arrested for this incident, a quick test reportedly revealed a large amount of psychotropic drugs.
