“My son’s name is Phoenix”

Paris Hilton, heiress to the global hotel chain Hilton Group, announced that the name of her son born through surrogacy is 'Phoenix'.

On the 22nd (local time), Paris Hilton announced on her podcast channel 'This Is Paris' that the name of her son born through surrogacy in January was 'Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum'.

Paris Hilton said, "I am very proud and happy to have a baby with my husband Carter Leeum." 'Phoenix' is the capital and largest city of the U.S. state of Arizona, and is said to symbolize hope, resurrection, and change.

Paris Hilton said she wanted to give her children a city name just like she named the city 'Paris'. “I’ve been planning what to name my children for years,” he said. “I wanted to name my daughter London. I also wanted my son to keep the theme of being named after a city, but it was hard to think of one, so we decided to name him ‘Phoenix.’ “I came up with a name,” he said.

The son's middle name, Barron, was taken from his grandfather, Barron Hilton, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 91. Paris Hilton said, "My grandfather has always been my mentor and I have always looked up to him. I wanted to honor him by naming my son after him."

Previously, Paris Hilton shocked fans by announcing the news of the birth of her son through her social media last month. It was even more surprising that Paris Hilton's mother and sisters were completely unaware that she had given birth to a son.

Paris Hilton began dating Carter Leeum in December 2019 and married in November 2021.
