Group Fifty Fifty Kina will attend the Billboard Music Awards alone.

According to her agency Attract on the 29th, Kina plans to participate in the '2023 Billboard Music Awards' to be held on November 19 (local time). While Attract notified Aran, Shio, and Saena of the termination of their exclusive contracts, Kina was headed to the Billboard Awards alone.

Fifty Fifty was nominated in the Top Duo/Group category and Top Global K-Pop Song category at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards. Fifty Fifty's 'Cupid' set a record, peaking at #17 on the Billboard 'Hot 100' and charting for 25 weeks.

Last June, there was internal strife, with four members filing a lawsuit against Attract for an injunction to suspend their exclusive contract. Kina withdrew the lawsuit on the 17th of this month and returned. As the other three members, Saena, Shio, and Aran, were notified of the termination of their exclusive contracts by their agency, only Kina remained in Fifty Fifty. Currently, only Kina is registered as a Fifty Fifty member on the portal site.

In the Top Duo/Group category, in addition to Fifty Fifty, Metallica, Fuerza Regida, Eslavon Armado, and Grupo Frontera were ranked. BTS's Jimin, Jungkook, and New Jeans were also nominated in the Top Global K-Pop Song category.
