The late Lee Ji-han died at the age of 25 in a stampede that occurred in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on October 29 last year.

At the time, his agency 935 Entertainment said, “Actor Lee Ji-han became a star in the sky and left us,” and added, “We would like to express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family who are in deep sorrow due to the sudden news and to everyone who loves, cherishes, and mourns with actor Lee Ji-han.” “I offer my condolences,” he said, announcing the news of his death.

At the time of his death, the late Lee Ji-han had joined the MBC drama 'Season of Kokdu' and was appearing as Han Hane-jeol's ex-boyfriend. Accordingly, 'Season of the Kokdu' also stopped filming in memory of the deceased, and then resumed filming after replacing the actor.

In the final episode, 'Season of Kokdu' paid tribute with the phrase, "The actors and staff of 'Season of Kokdu' remember actor Lee Ji-han."
