Jang Ki-yong, discharged from the army

Actor Jang Ki-yong has completed his military service.

According to his agency YG Entertainment on the 22nd, Jang Ki-yong enlisted in the army as an active-duty soldier in August 2021. After faithfully completing his military service for about 1 year and 6 months, he reported his discharge from the Army's 15th. Infantry Division this morning and announced his active activities as an actor again.

Jang Ki-yong expressed his thoughts at the scene of his discharge, saying, "Thank you for waiting for such a long time. I will be able to greet you with a good work soon."

Jang Ki-yong, who began his acting career in 2014 with the drama 'It's Okay, That's Love', left an impression on viewers with his impressive acting in the dramas 'Confession Couple' and 'My Mister'. Since then, he has appeared in leading roles in several works such as 'Come and Hug Me', 'Enter a Search Word WWW', 'Living Together', and 'We Are Breaking Up', and has been working hard right up until his enlistment.

Before enlisting in the military, Jang Ki-yong renewed his contract with his current agency, YG Entertainment, and continues to maintain a relationship with him. YG Entertainment promises full support as a companion and partner to Jang Ki-yong and plans to accelerate support for the actor's return to activity.
